Hello! My name is Emily, and I am the founder and owner of Reloved Rabbit Co., a small business that sources, refurbishes and resells preloved goods in and around Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia.
After hearing the news that Harrisonburg and Rockingham County has decided to limit plastic recycling, I wanted find ways to reduce my own carbon footprint. By experimenting with items found in my personal recycling bin and picking up overlooked treasures at local thrift shops, I began developing ideas for how to refurbish small items into gifts, home decor and more. With this website, I hope to inspire residents to reduce household waste by creatively thinking about how they might reuse small items that previously might have taken up space in a landfill.
On this website, you will find local, refurbished goods available for sale as well as a blog full of tips and inspiration to begin refurbishing your own small items. I hope that together we can reduce waste in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County and inspire the globe to be more intentional and thoughtful about what we throw away.
